Aero Top Tube Module

Apidura Aero Top Tube Module

The Aero Top Tube Module represents a new frontier in gravel racing performance, specifically engineered for athletes who seek every possible advantage. Developed through extensive Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis, this system is designed to smooth the turbulent airflow behind the stem, significantly reducing drag. When integrated with the Aero Frame Module, the system delivers an average 5 watt saving at race speeds, a metric validated through rigorous wind tunnel testing and proven effective across various bike geometries. This is more than a storage solution; it is a performance-oriented upgrade that turns a standard frame into a streamlined racing machine.

Innovative Construction and Rapid Access

At the core of this module is an ultralight Hexagrid construction, which provides a rigid yet featherweight structure that holds its shape even under demanding race conditions. The integration of transfer panel technology further enhances the aerodynamic profile, ensuring the transition between the frame and the module remains as seamless as possible. Designed for the heat of competition, the system features one-handed fast entry, allowing riders to access essential nutrition or spares without breaking their tuck or losing focus on the trail ahead.

Practical Protection and Race-Proven Results

Beyond its aerodynamic benefits, this modular system offers a refined interior environment for essential race-day items. A soft interior base protects contents from vibration and impact, ensuring that electronics and delicate supplies remain secure over rough gravel terrain. Whether the goal is a podium finish at an elite event or simply increasing efficiency on long-distance adventures, this module provides a reliable, data-backed advantage. It is a vital tool for any cyclist looking to optimize the small details that result in massive gains over the course of a ride.
