DLC12 Waxed Chain 126L

KMC DLC12 Waxed Chain 126L

The high-end chain for 12-speed systems with KMC's GO wax. The diamond-like DLC coating reduces friction and offers one of the most durable and efficient chains available. The DLC 12x chain is also approved for E-Bikes.

Thanks to the innovative formula of KMC GO CHAIN WAX, the premium KMC chains treated with this wax offer unmatched durability and efficiency. Unlike oil-based lubricants, waxed chains are less prone to dirt build-up, which extends drivetrain life and reduces cleaning intervals.

The KMC X-Series was developed with the specific characteristics of the Shimano, SRAM, and Campagnolo systems in mind. With precisely chamfered plates, the X-Bridge technology enables smooth shifting and efficient propulsion in all riding conditions. The X Series enjoys the trust of many top athletes in professional cycling.

KMC GO Wax Benefits

Long lasting: Once applied, the wax dries to form a protective barrier that outlasts oil-based products
Less dirt: Waxed chains attract less dirt, minimising wear and ensuring smooth operation
Biodegradable: Free from PFAS and harsh solvents
Easy to use: Easy to apply and does not require dewaxing before reapplication

DLC Technology

KMC's Titanium-Carbon-Nitride coated chains have an extremely hard surface, reducing friction and wear. This results in excellent shifting performance and smooth transmission. The high-end pin is another feature designed to achieve maximum durability.

Recommended Care intervals

• Road Bikes: KMC recommend to care for your KMC Waxed at the latest after 250 km or at least once a month.
• MTB, cross and frequent riders in all weather conditions: After 100 km at the latest.

Rewaxing

• The chain must be dry before applying the wax
• The chain does not need to be dewaxed
• Shake the bottle and apply to the inside of the chain (One complete turn)
• Do not wipe off excess wax.
• Allow to dry completely before riding, especially in wet conditions
